July is my favourite month of the year. It's the month of summer holidays, travelling to new places and eating new things. It's the time to pack your itsy, bitsy, teeny weeny bikini and broad sunhat, sunnies and enormous polka-dotted wedges. Or K Jacques sandals in caramel hues and a silk turband in a lively print. Whatever you'll be wearing this summer, whether you'll be hiking in the Cevennes with a donkey, following the trails of fleeing Huganoes or sailing around the Med on a cream-coloured yacht, here are some of my suggested essentials.
